I Have Switzerland Professional installed (bottom of the picture) as well as the freeware (to the left hand side of the picture) photoscenery mapsof Alto Adige.. Those screenshots look stunning, I bet loads of FSX fans are eagerly waiting for this to release.. It may well make for nicer looking mountains I’d imagine to get the more dramatic or accurate peaks however, you’d still need an addon terrain mesh such as FS Genisis, and to get the accurate dockland areas, towns etc, you’d still need something like UTX. HERE

You find it here: It has 2 meters image resulution If you dont use FS Global, you will find towns that are in a valley being suck to mountain sides The Dolomites are a very unforgiving scenery for unaccurate terrain data The wrong textures to the right are GEX/UTX. 2

Ultimate Terrain gives a more accurate representation of coastlines, urban areas, forested areas etc, but Im not sure it enhances mountainous areas.. Orbx creates high fidelity scenery packages for FSX, Prepar3D, X-Plane 11 and Aerofly FS 2.. But that is just the mesh! If you have nice VFR textures, that makes at least to me a world of difference. As said, ORBX does a nice job for many of their products But youll get grey hairs when using in combination with other scenery enhancers that work the same way As said, I wouldnt give up on GEX etc, photosceneries have always priority in FSX and just stick them in where you do bushflying.. I might be wrong of course, but my UTX subfolders only seem to deal with lights, railroads, highways, streams and a few repositioned airports, all customisable within the UTX interface and individually selectable from within the FSX scenery library..
